Job Description

The Zimbabwe National Army is recruiting suitably qualified candidates who are Zimbabwean Citizens and physically fit to join the Organisation and serve as Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Radiographers, Registered General/Specialist Nurses, Lab Technicians, Psychologists, Pharmacy Technicians, Physiotherapists, Rehab Technicians and many others.

REQUIREMENTS

The Prospective candidates should be aged 30 years and below and must have a minimum of 5 ‘O” levels including English and Mathematics in addition to the Professional qualifications as follows:

MEDICAL DOCTORS (GENERAL PRACTITIONERS AND SPECIALISTS)

• Be in possession of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree or its equivalence.
• Specialist Doctors in addition to the above should also possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant field of Specialisation.

PHARMACISTS

• Be holders of a degree in Pharmaceutical Technology or its equivalence.
• Any relevant higher qualification is an added advantage.

RADIOGRAPHERS

• Be holders of at least a first degree or equivalence in Radiography obtained from a recognised institution.
• Higher qualifications will be an added advantage.

PSYCHOLOGISTS

• Prospective candidates should have a minimum of a degree in Psychology obtained from a recognised institution.

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

• Be holders of a degree in Physiotherapy obtained from a recognised institution.
• Any higher qualification will be an added advantage.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

• Be holders of a degree in Occupational Therapy.

GENERAL AND SPECIALIST NURSES

• Be in possession of a degree/diploma in General Nursing and or Post Graduate Specialisation Certificate.
• Any higher qualification will be an added advantage.

LABORATORY TECHNICIANS

• Be holders of a diploma in Laboratory Technician obtained from a recognised institution.

REHAB TECHNICIANS

• Be holders of a relevant degree/diploma in Rehabilitation.

PHARMACY TECHNICIANS

• Be holders of a diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology obtained from a recognised institution.

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELORS

• Be holders of a diploma in Psychology obtained from a recognised institution.

NB: All prospective candidates must be registered with relevant Alliance Councils and Boards in Zimbabwe and also be holders of current practicing Certificates.
